United Nations World Refugee Day

Somali Bantu families as they leave behind a two-hundred year legacy of
oppression in Africa to face new challenges in a strange new land." *
Join the Bob Bullock Texas History Museum and the Austin Refugee Roundtable
for a screening of Rain in a Dry Land, a film directed and produced by Anne
Makepeace.
This will be at the *Bob Bullock Texas History Museum, **1800 N. Congress
Ave*, at the corner of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, on *June 20th,*
from *6:30-8:30
pm, in the Spirit Theater*.
This will be followed by a panel discussion with refugee service
professionals from: Caritas of Austin, Refugee Services of Texas,
Interfaith Action of Central Texas, Center for Survivors of Torture,
Multicultural Refugee Coalition and AISD.
