I don't know if anyone is interested, but the Roman Catholic Diocese of
Austin's Youth and Young Adult Office is offering the following
workshop/conference.
Seminar on confronting violence
"Stand Down: Confronting Youth and Family Violence," a conference that will
provide participants with the resources and tools to recognize, respond to
and confront violent behavior in families, relationships and society, will
be held Oct. 11 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at St. Louis Parish in Austin.
This is sponsored by the diocesan Youth and Young Adult Ministry office and
Parish Social Ministry of Catholic Charities of Central Texas. Workshops
will be offered in English and Spanish. Registration is $5 for youth and $15
for adults, and includes morning refreshments and lunch. For more
