- Janice - (and Steve) are celebrating the birth of their second
grandchild, Roxy Doan Friesen to David and Miriam Friesen in the Kansas
City area. Everyone is fine. (Janice has photos!)
- Pat - is thankful to have found relief from a chronic shoulder pain.
- Stacy - appreciated the consensus process during the congregational
meeting last Sunday as the congregation took action on several items: 1.
endorsed the resolution "Seeking Peace in Israel and Palestine" coming to
delegates at the Mennonite Church USA Convention in Orlando, Florida this
summer, 2. affirmed the Coordinating Council recommendation to go ahead
with remodeling the main church bathrooms for handicap accessibility, 3.
affirmed the Finance Committee's recommendation for a $40,000 fundraising
effort toward the cost of the bathroom remodel, and, 4. extended a call to
Pastor Lee for another three year term.
- Peggy - remember George in prayer this week as he faces cancer surgery
on his nose. He is anxious about the pain and the inability to wear his
CPAP for a time.
- Allan - Introduced his parents, Allan and Jeri Cole from Anderson,
South Carolina.
- Allan introduced a former colleague and his wife, Terry and Regina
Wolfer from Irmo, South Carolina. Terry teaches at the University of South
Carolina in the College of Social Work.
- Allan and Tracey are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary!

- Daniel - Hopes to see his dad more.
- Doug - would like prayers for forgiveness as he continues to struggle
with a broken relationship.
- Gloria - Michelle (Rudy's daughter) has been sick.
- Dama - pray for her sister who is back in the hospital.
- Bob Knipe - pray for safe journey for my family traveling to Boston
this week for a conference on physical education.
- Natalie - is glad that her dad, Richard Harris is visiting this week
from Manhattan (Kansas).
