*Sharing of Joys and Concerns from Sunday, Feb 5, 2017*
- Steve Hochstetler - pray for Karen, the co-captain of my tennis team,
who has not been well, lost 25 pounds, not getting answers from doctors.
- Michelle - I am sad because my dog died suddenly of heart failure.
- Marcia - our son, Alex has been in a neck brace and off work since his
accident 7 weeks ago. He has been released from the neck brace and allowed
to go back to work.
- Marcia - our daughter, Lindsay has been experiencing painful kidney
stones.
- Bob Knipe - pray for my mom who is officially retired from her
long-time job where she enjoyed a sense of community.
- Kristen - pray for teachers as they struggle with the tension of
responding to the social needs of students while at the same time teaching
a subject matter.
- Nathan - concerned about a friend named Tony who is in transition.
- Nathan - pray for a friend who was in a car accident. No one was
injured but it was traumatic experience.
- Donna - pray for me with my continuing journey with MS.
- Peggy - pray for George who has difficulty sleeping.
- Omar - I arrived in the U.S. about 13 years ago. I just passed my GED
and received the certificate! (applause)
- Omar - my father fell this past week and injured his foot with a
severe cut to his heel. He is the main income earner for the family. Pray
for healing and resources.
- Omar - concerned about impending legislation, Texas Senate Bill 4

that would cause harm to people. He encourages opposition to the bill. Omar
testified at the capital against the bill.
- Lee - pray for Ronald Escobar who was in the hospital last week with
diabetes related issues. (back in the ER today - Tue).
- Dolly - their neighbor, Ronnie, died last week. Pray for family,
friends and neighbors.
- Ted - his sister in Belize, Sila, passed away on Friday, just a few
days after Ted and Dama visited her there. Ted and Dama returned on Wed.
(Our love and sympathy to Ted and his family.)
- Lee - Terri's week started off with a little more pain which has now
eased up slightly.
