*Sharing of Joys and Concerns, Sunday, August 21, 2016:*
- Larry - It's good to be back! Dolly is still in Maine basking in
retirement. Pray for a student whose husband died suddenly. In the midst of
loss the student had to move into more affordable housing.
- Stacey Borasky - good to be in Austin. Her father does not have
Parkinsons. Essential tremors is the diagnosis.
- Rudy - glad that Michelle rousted him at 6am this morning so they
could get to church on time.
- Mary - Thanks to Austin Mennonite Church folks who donated food items
to Hope Lutheran Church Food Pantry.
- Lee - Welcome to Pastor Lupe and Yolanda Aguilar and their grandson,
Christopher from Brownsville TX. Christopher is beginning at UT.
- Pam - Glad to be back from co-directing a camp in Indiana. The camp
asked her to be permanent director. She drove through rural Louisiana
recently and encouraged prayers for flooding victims.
- Ann - willing to give one of her homeless bag kits to anyone wanting
one to share with a homeless person. Kit includes listing of services for
the homeless.
- Steve H. - good to be back after the 440 mile bicycle trip across Iowa
and visiting family in Indiana. Enjoyed the trip. Pat did great driving 31
foot RV.
- Dixie - AISD starts tomorrow. Pray for teachers.
- Stacy V. - Martin's school delayed 2 weeks due to construction and
it's been a stressful 2 weeks. Had a great summer on the road.
- Pat - my mother's side of the family lives in Baton Rouge. They are
okay but dealing with some flooding.
- Milton - my niece who was anxious about school said her first day of
school was "the best ever."
- Hannah - pray for our community going through a time of discord.
- Lee - Congratulations and God's blessings to Shahirie Rejon and Travis
Coc with the birth of Hope Sofia Rejon on Friday, August 19, 2016. Mom and
