I just went through this. Tech support thought it was a bad color change
motor...it turned out that the head wasn't all of the way up. There were
little pops when it was moving along, then one big snap and it stuck.
I can't tell you exactly what he did, but he loosed the bolts on the color
change motor cover, then he reached underneath and rotated a shaft to get it
back into the proper head up position. Poof. It worked.
