[amayausers] stop button not working

Hey all,
    I am recently having some trouble with my normal stop button not
working.  I just had the new presser foot upgrade, and have started
occasionally having trouble with the stop button.  Has anyone got any ideas
on what's wrong here?  I push the stop button, and sometimes it stops,
sometimes it keeps on sewing and I have to use the E-stop.
