I didn't realize you were looking for a big one.

Even if someone adds lettering or modifies the design you cannot give or sell it to someone else. There are people out there who would do this but I wouldn't risk it.

I just talked with the folks at Great Notion and she said the same as
Dakota-the auto mfgs. went through all the artwork file suppliers and forced
them to yank any designs that could be recognized as a 'brand' of vehicle.
I know the dakato designs are not supposed to be 'copied', but if anyone
came up with a customized version, added lettering, etc. that would be
'theirs' to do with what they want-and with designpro I can remove it and
change the design for what we need. I am going to do a 'stitch saver'
applique for the main body-saves about 25k stitches for what the customer
wants.
I'll check the link and see what it is-so far I have only found designs
under 2" and I need about 8" width or better.
Thanks
Roland

Roland,

I hate to break the news to you but it is illegal for anyone with Dakota
Designs to share or sell them to others. I have the full book that we
bought in 1997 and update every other year. Even if you setup a design for
a customer with a Dakota design and they want a copy, you cannot give it to
them.

Hi everyone...I just found this site yesterday and probably haven't got a
clue what to do here...
but I'm searching for anyone that has the digitized 'stretch limousine'
artwork that is in the older Dakota books-they have been forced to drop
all
'vehicle specific' artwork from their library by big auto dealers
(according
to the company rep I spoke to). I have a small client that runs a limo
service-and the stretch limo in the old book is exactly what he has and
needs a couple jackets done.
Anyone have it and willing to send me a copy? I run just one Amaya-no big
production here....and will part with a few $$ if needed for it. Or will
trade digitized artwork for it-I have the full blown designshop pro and
have
done a lot of intricate detail work. Nice one I just finished is the full
'apron' design for Masonic lodge-pillars, globe, compass, miter, etc.
Please contact me direct if you have a limo!
Thanks
