If you have a standard Amaya ( Big Red) as the folks are calling them, these
are pre-XT series machines. These machines use a raised needle plate and the
presser foot foot would be all the way up and down a couple of clicks.
If you have an XT Amaya, then it would be set all the way down and up a couple
of clicks. These are the guidelines to go by....
