All I know is to do a "trim immediate"- there is no tie off when you do that, 
but all you have to do is back up about 15 stitches, and effectively "run over" 
where you trimmed, which will hold the previous stitches before the trim in 
place- if you do this in the middle of a back & forth fill, you may need to 
back up further just to be sure.
