I am working on a very large biker patch - doing satin stitch column outline.
The top thread seems to be pulling up bobbin in a definite pattern every few
stitches. Changed out the little red wheel, checked bobbin tension, even tried
standard actifeed (10) instead of Auto. Fabric is flock with a twill applique
over some of it, but seems to be happening on single layer as well as
multi-layered areas. Backing is a loose but crisp light woven fabric. Density
of satin stitching is 3.8 density. This problem seems to be escalating for no
reason. I am on the third try. Any input is appreciated. This is very
frustrating.
