Becky C......answer....you can not , just turn it off. The trimmer will work
perfectly if adjusted correctly and the knife is sharp.

The measurement related to the knife and selector positions would be located in
the Parts and Tech CD that came with your machine. The know how to fully
understand the combinations of adjustments and the timing sequences that make
this little demon work properly along with the rest of the machine, comes with
the complex training and experience that the techs have paid dearly to aquire.
