We were having problems with the thread unwinding off the spools and either
getting wound up in another color as it pulled thread up, or winding around
under the spool and getting tight enough to break. Had a couple of 'thread
breaks' from the thread getting hung up and wrapped around underneath the
cones-especially with the smaller cones sitting up on the 'coasters'
underneath.
Very simple solution took care of it...we moved the Amaya 4 feet to the
other side of the room! I was trying to figure out what was going on with
it-when our furnace kicked on...the blast of air was enough to start
unwinding the thread off the spool! For a while we clipped a piece of poster
board up one side of the spool holder to block it, then rearranged to turn
it around in the room. End of problem-not once has the thread done that
again!
