Do you have to change all 16 feed rollers at once when you go to the new system?

So, at the 4 million stitch maintenance do you have to go through and
inspect all the rollers? Does anyone know if it stretches the maintenance out
to 8 or 12 million? That is the most time consuming maintenance interval for
me. It greaves me when a machine is not producing because of a roller
inspection. It might be worth the $100.00 if the machine is not down every 4
million stitches.

Aaron, Maybe I can buy your extral rollers and you can up date sooner.

I have been spending about $100 a month on rollers and am happy to
see something that will last longer. As soon as my black ones get low (I order
100 or so at a time) I am going to order the new kits and hopefully won't have
to spend so much monthly on rollers.

I've had my Machine for 3 years now. I have had all versions of the
thread feed rollers except for the newest one. I have had very little problems
with all of the rollers they have provided. I think it is very bad business on
their part to not at least notify their customers of the changes in advance so
we could stock up! This sort of business tactics really frustrates me about
Melco. I like their machine, but why do I need to always find out second hand
when something changes?? It can't be that difficult to notify the users of
their equipment since they have a list of us!!! Maybe it would be nice if they
asked for our feedback first??

I hope the new rollers really last as long as they say they will
because each one cost $5.80 for replacement.

              Thank You Wendy!

This just irritates me!! There is nothing wrong with the old
rollers and if I am not mistaken people have been complaining about the new
ones, aren't they?

What if not all of my rollers need to be replaced? What is the
upgrade?

              Thanks,

              LuAnn

That really irritates me. They aren't going to offer the old
roller so basically we are FORCED to pay $95 to upgrade??? I don't like that at
all!!!!! I have never had that much trouble with the old system and do not like
being forced into spending my hard earned money on something that is unecessary.

                  Hey all,

Just thought I'd drop in again and let every one know that
didn't know (like me)

but, I just had ordered this morning from Melco, some of the
old thread feed rollers.

and they called back later to tell me that Melco is no longer
selling the old thread feed rollers.

if you need some you either need to know someone who will
sell you some

of their extras or make your own, OR, upgrade for $95 to the
new system.

So hopefully all will go well when our first set shows up in
a few days.

I didn't realize that they were not going to support both
systems.

since I don't have much trouble with the old system.

So just an FYI for anyone that might have needed more.

you'll need to switch to the new system.
