[amayausers] Stitching on satin

Good afternoon!
I am preparing to stitch on some poly satin, firm with lots of body for some
podium
drapes. Has anyone here embroidered on satin? I just need a starting point,
needles,
etc. The fabric is royal blue with white stitching, letters only; what kind of
stabilizer
should I use? I wish I had some black, but don't. Any information/help would
be greatly
