2 pieces of 2 oz. tearaway on the back, and 2 layers of solvy on top. Had to lay down a zigzag pattern under the lettering area first- outline the lettering if you don't want it to show, or make a 'box' behind it for the fill. Tried both ways...either will work. I have not tried one since we got the autotension working-that might make a big difference.
