If it is just bent forward a little bit, use a flat blade screwdriver to push back on it to straighten it. If it is bent in the off set , using a combination of screwdriver and a needlenose pliar should get you going again. Seldom have I experienced where a presser foot became so bent from a hoop strike that it couldn't be straightened without removing it from the machine. If it is bent beyound repair, then there is the possibility other parts may also be damaged...
