Your right wire frame can confuse things,
I frankly use a program called BuzzEdit when I want to disassemble a design
that is not OFM. the program does not use OFM darn but it makes it easy to
disassemble and see how things are done. It is a stitch based editor and can
work with dst, exp almost all home formats.
