My thoughts are that either there is a defective rotary hook assembly, or debris of some sort stuck inside the bobbin case not allowing the new bobbin to go all the way in. I just know it isn't the NEB bobbin.

NEB bobbins also have always given me the best results. I'd ask your tech why your needle was hitting the plastic? That would point to a different issue. The needle should not hit the bobbin. Going to a magnetic core seems like a way to override the problem rather than fixing it?Sharon, why would the needle hit the bobbin? What are your thoughts on this? Just curious now...GF =========================================================== The AmayaUsers Mailing List Website: http://www.amayausers.com Discussion Board: http://www.amayausers.com/boards Subscribe/Unsubscribe: http://www.amayausers.com/list ===========================================================
