You need the spool end caps, put one on the bottom of your spool, then set that
on the
round cardboard disks that came with your machine. See the end caps here:

3" cones on the Amaya and how?? I have a bunch of them
and they fit on the cone holders but shake all their
thread off when the machine is going.
