Frankly
I would encourage them to consider an applique as opposed to a fill. A fill of
that size will be stiff and will wash poorly.
the applique would be softer and you can match a nice material to the bed
spread.
would look much nicer.
We have done this many times.
Also it will be much quicker for you and cheaper for them.
