I have had a disatrous experience with my AMAYA this morning and in more than a
bind! After stitching a simple design this morning, I suddenly hear a pop
sound, I turn to investigate thinking this came from somewhere else in the room
only to hear another pop, followed by billows of smoke from the A/C input and
then the arm and elsewhere on the back! I immediately paniced and began
unplugging as it was time to leave for my regular job! I've returned and held
my breath as I re-connected and tried to boot up, and immediately the machine
popped twice and now nothing! There is no power to the machine at all it
appears. I know my worst fears are going to be realized when I finlly find
someone to look at it. But, in the meantime, does anyone have any suggestions
on some trouble shooting I can attempt? Do you have any suggestions on a
technician? I am in Barnwell, SC which is approximately 5 hours to the
nearest authorized tech!!! UGH! I am freaking out here with orders pen
ding!!! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
