You really need to AGRESSIVELY blow out the color index sensor as well as the needlecase home sensor. Make sure the Grabber blade and a needlebar are not locked together. Make sure all takeup levers are horizonally lined up with each other and that all needlebars are in their upper most positions. If they are not, depress the E-stop and manually rotate the Z-axis shaft to accomplish this. If the machine is running, make sure the E-stop is depressed and physically move the needlecase so that a needle is lined up with the presserfoot and the needleplate hole. If it is centered exactly, you should be able to get a headup command. If the sensors and flags are clean, you should be able to go into Maintenance , Steppers and click on Home in the Grabber column and then click on Home in the Color Change column. The needlecase should go to the #9 needle position that is, if the sensors and flags are clean.
