Bend the little tip to about a 45 degree angle so it makes it easier to get into the notch in the rotary hook basket. That little thingy, being referred to, is called the retaining support finger. Juli is right to suggest this....it must be gauged properly for the machine to operate correctly. A parts CD is supplied with your machine and it is very easy to use. With it, you can quickly identify any part in the machine, visually, and call it by name so the thingy that is operating the thingy in front of them can more accuately tell those thingies in Denver which one of the thingy's things are mis-behaving....sorry couldn't resist... ;-)) Rod Springer Amaya Tech & Trainer =========================================================== The AmayaUsers Mailing List Website: http://www.amayausers.com Discussion Board: http://www.amayausers.com/boards Subscribe/Unsubscribe: http://www.amayausers.com/list ===========================================================
