To get the auto shapes icon to work you need to click on complex fill
and then go to auto shapes. Hope this helps. Margaret

I have made a map with rivers and towns and want to
put a simple gold star by the towns. The custom shapes
or auto shapes button is greyed out. Can someone tell
me how to do this?
