Hi,

Thanks for the welcome guys. Yes I have been on eline and wais probably
almost from their start.

I have a lot of reading of the archeives to do to catch up on the trail of
the Amaya.

I had a quick look at the jan and feb posts for 2006 and looks like some of
you are still having problems

Anand

Yes, welcome! I to recognize your name from the eline. Were you able to
purchase all the things you wanted while you were here in the States?

As for the Amaya, I've heard some say the learning curve is toughest for
those with previous commercial machine experience as the whole concept is
different. I came from a home embroidery machine and I was stitching the day
after
delivery (without training---I finally attended after 6 months). As with
all
machines, there are thread breaks but I usually attribute them to something
I
can adjust (backing, etc.). I'm getting ready to finally upgrade the rollers
and install the latest OS that has an auto-actifeed system (i.e. Amaya's
"tension" system) so that the machine will adjust automatically how much
thread
to feed for the thickness of the fabric.
