Instead, respond to the thread on the WEBSITE by clicking here: http://www.amayausers.com/boards/ultimatebb.php?/topic/1/361.html#000002 For GF, If you want to keep the needles threaded when you remove the front cover just raise all of the red rollers and pull about 18 inches of thread down on each needle and tie them all together in a knot, lower the red rollers and proceed to remove the front cover. You should be able to lower it from the top down. It stays right there in front but it is out of the way for the needle bar lubrication and it is much easier to clean with it out of the way. When it's time to reinstall it, tilt it back up with one hand and with the other hand keep some tension on the bundle of thread below. It may take a couple of time to get the hang of it but in the long run you won't have to rethread 16 needles. Steve I.
