Sally,

Your settings might be affected by a virus program, but without being there
I can't be sure what is happening. Definitely bring this issue up when you
receive your next training session.

This has been going on for several weeks. I use Comcast. There is no
problem with my other two computers. I can send, just not receive from the
laptop.

    Sally,

Who is your Internet service provider? I will receive that message from
time to time, (I'm using SBC), and the problem will clear itself up most of
the time after a few minutes, or sometimes as long as a few hours.

I'm not able to receive messages on my laptop. The message is that
POP 3 server has not responded. I am able to send messages, however. I
have no idea what to check. Any suggestion appreciated!
      Thanks,
      Sally
