The synch process will just look to update any changes so if you remove
items from your Mac or add tthem that is what the synching will do.
Of course you can set yur ITunes to automatically update or or only manually
in which case if manually it will only do wht you tell it to

After a lot of trial and error, I was able to sink the music on my Mac
laptop to my IPhone.
I wonder if when I sink in the future it will ignore any music that is
already on the phone.
