David,
Thank you for posting your message to the list.
I no longer lug my notetakers around as I did in the past.
I have really missed taking notes and seem to record on my vr stream.
I still like to take notes and this seems like
An alternative that I will consider.
My iPhone does not have a keyboard that I use, so possibly another device
will work!
Thank you,
Sally

Subject: [adaptivetec] Re: Alternatives to Humanware M Power/Apex with
QWERTY keyborad?
Lana,
First, I'm somewhat surprised that Humanware would plan to discontinue the
QWERTY version of their Apex. As to alternatives, what I'm about to suggest
might not be an acceptable solution for some and it may prove to be more
controversial than I might have envisioned but have you considered an iOS
device, such as an iPod Touch, along with a Bluetooth keyboard. An iPod
Touch is one of the most inexpensive iOS devices you could buy and you could
use it along with a portable Bluetooth keyboard for those times when you
plan on doing a lot of writing. For a more elegant solution you could
consider an iPad. For around $500 you could get an iPad with a keyboard
which you could attach to the device and it would feel like a very thin
laptop which would allow you to do notetaking, word processing, book
reading, radio listening, Web browsing and everything else you can do with
an iOS device.

My Braille skills are not fast enough to use everyday.
Thanks in advance,
