I don't know if this is true for everyone, but our free version will no longer
allow us to schedule the scan time.

The easiest way to force a scan is to press F4. Pressing F9 will initiate
the Update dialog. When in the main AVG window, you can tab over to the
Scheduler. It's a good idea to set your update and scan schedules to a time
that best fits your computer use in place of the default times.

    Hello,

I just downloaded and install this anti-virus program and I can not fidn a
option to scan my hard drive for viruses. Does this option not allowed in the
free version? If it does can someone tell me where it is and what the option
called.

    Thanks
    Garreett
