[adaptech] Passwording files in winzip?

Hi, I had opened a zip archive that i wanted to put a password on. I went to
hte options menu, and hit enter on password, and subsequently entered the
password that I wanted. Then I tried opening the zip archive again to see if
it would prompt for a password, but that didn't happen.
Is there something wrong that I'm doing?
