accessible-iOS Purchased apps on iohone

Using my ipad I bought an app the other day. I want the app on my iphone so I
went to App Store and not finding a ypurchased button or tab I tapped on
updates. In updates I found purchased so I tapped it. Then there was two
choices, all or not on this iphone. I tried both but VO just says empty list
when I search. I am able to find the updates and the uodate all button. But
how do I find the app I bought using my ipad so I can install it on my iphone?
I only have one itunes/icloud/apple account.With questions, concerns or issues
