Hello list,

There are a couple of very good features that I used to have on my Nokia e7
and that I haven't been able to find on my iPhone 5s. I wonder if any of you
could help me:
1. When I opened an item on my calendar and it has a telephone number
associated with it, I could click on that number and call the person with
whom I had the appointment. Is it possible to do so in the calendar of the
iPhone?
2. My nokia e7 allowed me to look for numbers that I had deleted
because they were kept on the Gmail server. I haven't found an option on the
contacts of the iPhone that allow me to look for numbers stored on the
server. This was a very handy feature because I didn't have to keep lots of
numbers that I seldom use in my contacts list.

Thanks.

Hi,

mail and text messages: there's an edit button, hwere you tap on each you
need to delete, then find the button at the bottom saying delete ##
messsages.

2, you might need to use exchange server if your mail provider, provides
that service. I think there is something you can do in iTunes too.

Contacts: you can't! the delete button is buried as deep as they can get
it. Contacts are critical items and are therefore, the greatest protected.
Crap when you end up importing a load of useless ones off Facebook or
whatever, but that's how it is. Tip: check in Outlook so it doesn't put
everyone you reply to, into your contacts.

Ps: really dig your music over there, collect it, the only music I'll dance
to, as far as a 60 year old dances at all!
I like the harp music too, but think that's the Paraguayans.

RobH.

Subject: accessible-iOS some questions

Hello,

I am Luis Peña from Cali, Colombia, south America.

Recently I got my first iPhone, an iPhone 5S. I have several questions that
I haven't been able to resolve:
1. How Can I delete text messages and email messages?
2. How can I synchronize my iPhone with Microsoft Outlook 2010, so my
appointments and tasks are displayed on my iPhone?
3. How can I delete multiple contacts at once from iPhone without
having to use the ITunes application on my PC?
4. I installed the Gmail app from the apple store. However, I haven't
been able to configure my Gmail account because the app tells me that either
my user name or password are incorrect. This has happened in spite of the
fact that I have asked for sighted assistance. I have entered my user name
as lpena57@xxxxxxxxx. I wonder if I should leave the domain part out. Has
anybody used this app? If so, how accessible it is?

Thanks for your help.
