Sincerely yours, Vashkar Bhattacharjee, Bio Information: Vashkar Bhattacharjee Mr. Vashkar Bhattacharjee is person with visually impaired primarily engaged as a Program Manager of Young Power in Social Action (YPSA). YPSA is a social development organisation directed towards assisting development initiatives to bring positive socio-economic change since 1985. Mr. Bhattacharjee is responsible for the overall strategic direction and management of disability and ICT related activities in YPSA. <http://www.ypsa.org/> www.ypsa.org Mr. Bhattacharjee serving as a General Secretary of CSD (a regional network of 53 organization). Another noteworthy role of Mr. Vashkar is that he is the focal person for DAISY in Bangladesh. DAISY stands for Digital Accessible Information System. It's a Switzerland based International e-accessibility consortium pioneering research, development, production and distribution of disabled friendly technology solutions worldwide. <http://www.daisy.org/> www.daisy.org Mr. Vashkar is also the official Convener of the National ICT Thematic Group. Provided expertise service to A2I since long. Specialization in issues of disability & development, ICTs for development, e-Accessibility and Information accessibility for person with disability. Personal rapport with national and international media agencies and development networks. International Trainer of Digital Accessible Information System (DAISY). Founder of Chittagong Computerized Braille production Centre and ICT & Resource Centre on Disability. In addition to the above mentioned roles and responsibilities, Mr. Vashkar is actively involved with a number of local, national and international agencies ranging from Bangladesh Visual Impaired Society to Duskin in Japan,. He is also a regular author of National ICT publications like The Monthly Computer Jagat etc. Furthermore, Mr. Vashkar is a renowned disability training specialist and speaker who regularly contributes these skills at national and international platforms.
