Hi Steve,

I think you are a little confused. Joe is asking about Mobile Speak, not
Mobile Accessibility, these are two completely different applications.
Mobile Speak is a screen reader, as Talks is.

Joe, the differences are subtle, as far as I know.

Talks tends to be a little more flexible in verbosity options. for example,
if your phone is locked with MS, it auto mutes, whether you want it or not,
but Talks has an auto mute option. The other problem with MS, is that when
the phone is locked, you can't perform MS commands, such as look at the
time. You can however, perform Talks commands, even when the phone is
locked. This is an issue, if all you want to do is look at the time. With
MS, you would have to unlock the phone, with Talks, you wouldn't.

But even I as a dealer of Talks, have to acknowledge that Mobile Speak has
come a long way, and there isn't so much that is different between the two.
I personally though, would say that Talks is more responsive, because it
uses a newer version of Eloquence now. This is just an opinion though.

Hope this helps.

All the best

Hi Jo, Long time no talk? Hope you and Linda are well.

I believe the difference really lies in the fact that Talks is more of an
actual screen reader which will interface with considerably more of the
phones facilities and applications. MA is more like a separate program that
uses it's own menus etc to allow you to do things like texting and managing
your contacts. The immediate disadvantage for me is that it doesn't allow
you to use all the phones features. I'm sure that someone else could give
you a more definitive comparrison but I've gotta say that Talks wins it for
me, especially with the new 6680 from Nokia. With having a stereo MP3
player on board, I'm in my element! smiles.

Regards.

Steve
