David,

Try http://www.cobolt.co.uk. They used to sell such a device.

Regards.

Subject: [access-uk] talking thermometer

Hi People,

Does anyone know if there is a talking thermometer available for indoor and
outdoor temperatures, i.e. not body temperature. I know about the Cobolt
one for around £12, but wonder if there is anything more sophisticated.
RNIB do not appear to have anything at all apart from the talking Cobolt
timer which also tells you the temperature. I was rather hoping that there
might be either a braille or a talking thermometer and barometer combined,
but that does not appear to be the case.

David
