Hi Husna - I assume your friend is visually impaired if she is using JFW. Why hasn't she got Disabled Students Allowance? This would cover the cost of the needed equipment/software/support and it would be the DSA needs assessor's responsibility to spec the machine appropriately.

hi,

i am writing on behalf of a friend. she has just started university and
needs a laptop. it needs to be as light as possible as she will be
carrying it around with her but also needs to have all the latest
capabilities as well as have a fast processor and be able to work well
with jaws. what do you recommend please?
