Hi Shea,

If you are referring to the Volume Control then there's a small program wich will save all your volume settings and restore them if they get muted or changed in any other way. I have mine on my start menu so all I have to do if I lose speech is press the Start key and the letter Z which i've got set up and the volume is returned to normal.
You can download Quick Mix from the following page.

Subject: [access-uk] shortcut key for unmuting sounds in control panel

Hi,
If this has been covered recently, my apologies. Does anyone know if there is a way to set a keyboard shortcut command for turning mute off in control panel? This has happened to me a couple of times quite recently, so I was wondering if it was possible to do such a thing rather than getting sighted assistance each time this happens.
