I use Kerzweil and Microsoft's own scan image programme with no conflict.
Of course, I don't have both running at the same time.

Hi yew we have two user accounts. I am using her account to run K1000 as I
don't want any conflicts with System Access.

Hi Jim.
 
Have you considered creating another user account for your partner?  You can
do this under user accounts in the control panel.  Then she'll have her own
account and can install her own programs, customised the way she wants them.

Hi all,
 
I share the pc with my other half. I have K1000 but my partner wants to use
the scanner to coppy and print maps and the like. Can any one reccomend
software that will not mess up K1000.
