Hi Tris,

If you have a proper screen reader of course, there is verbal feedback. It
says "Context menu" if you have Window-Eyes. No item is selected, so no
item is read, but you do know the menu is opened. JAWS is horrible with
context menus.

All the best

Steve

Not everyone knows where the application key is, however nearly eveyone
knows where the shift key is and probably can locate F10 when needed if
not used often. The Windows Application will work equally well though.
You'll have to get up a little earlier than that to catch me out on
keystrokes :)

One thing however that I have forgotton is that when you press Windows
Application key or Shift+F10 there is no verbal feeback of the content
menu, this is because there is no hightlight and therefore not properly
focused (by JAWS at any rate). If you use the arrow keys to locate the
menu options however things should work. I have used this technique for
many years with a proven success rate.

Regards.
