Hi All,

This is a followup to my post last week concerning .xps files, microsoft's
alternitive to pdf files.

Viewing these files requires a download from microsoft. Having done this,
I noticed that xp pro was very slow to shut down.

Following day, there were some updates to xps reader. It appears that the
update failed to install as I am prompted to accept the same update every
day and since this, xp fails to shut down correctly.

Just a warning in casse this happens to someone else.

Off to do some googling now to try and sort it.

Incidently, the reader did not appear to be accessible.

Keith
