Tricky one this, you may want to check yur screen resolution. sometimes there is also something interfearing with the screen display and getting in the way. I found that going in to tools, options and turning off check spelling and grammer as you type helped a bit. ----- Original Message ----- From: "kevin and Emma" <kream@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, April 24, 2007 6:18 PM Subject: [access-uk] problem with word selection in word! > hi all, i had a hard drive failure last week which has resulted in a new > pc and the reinstallation of everything. i'm using jfw 7.1 and ms office > 2003. before my pc problems, when i select a whole word in ms word > (control, shift left/right arrow), jfw would announce the word i'd just > selected. this no longer happens. is there something in either jfw or word > i need to change? at the minute jaws just says "selected" when i select > aword, but doesn't tell me what is selected as it used too. any help > appreciated. > kevin - (lord l) > "Civilization exists by geological consent, subject to change without > notice"-Will Durant > contact me: > email/msn: kream@xxxxxxxxxxxx > skype: lordandladyl > ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- > ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] > ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: > ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > ** and in the Subject line type > ** unsubscribe > ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the > ** immediately-following link:- > ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] > ** or send a message, to > ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq > ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
