[access-uk] Re: new NTL speeds/speed check

Hello George, How can you say that as there hasn't been that much chat regarding the NTL new speeds, that are more things said on the group that could do with stopping and they go on for longer.

Thanks, Steve.

That should kill THAT thread, stone dead.

So if any of you have questions about the speed of your
connection, please bitch at your ISP (Internet Service
Provider).

George.

Thanks Justin.

It's this fluctuation within sites and dointermittent
problems that
make it hard to judge the speed very
accurately.

Thanks, though for your explanation. I'm checking it out.

Not sure i understand Carol. Well, what i can tell you,
if
this is what

your asking, is the dl speed per kbs is, for me averaging
about 120kbs
per sec. This is just an average and I'm on
a
1mb connection. No idea what the kbs per sec is for 2mb
and
3mb. However, as you and everyone knows, each website's
kbs
dl speed tends to differ from each other and dl speed
always
flutuates.

I used to dl at about 37kbs per sec when i was on the
300K.
So, you should, i reckon, be hiting the 200 odd dl speed
mark, at a
guess.
