I have a Sonos sound bar connected with the optical connection from my tv, and
then the sub and a set of Play 3 speakers connected via the Sonos ap, so that
it is set up as a theatre system. My TVonics and Apple TV are hooked to the
telly, so their audio also comes through the sound bar, splendid.You can also
connect other Sonos speakers around the house so that you can listen to your tv
whichever room you are in. Or you can just play other streams, depending on
what you feel like. If you have a smart device with the Sonos ap on it, you
can also stream music from it. You can even add a Play Five with a cable
connected to it from your computer, and play anything on there through your
speaker network, loads of choices.
I have the speakers all over my house, and don’t believe that I would ever be
tempted by other brands now.
