Eleanor, because Microsoft has introduced product activation in both their Office and Windows products, you should read the EULA (End User Licence Agreement), and read carefully the point concerning installation and use of the software. The reason being is that it's usually ok to install Office or Windows on one computer, and you can activate it successfully, however after a certain number of computers, usually just that one, you can install it, but activation will fail because they've detected that the product key has been installed on more than the specified number of computers according to the EULA. The only way to resolve this is to either buy another copy of Office or Windows or contact Microsoft and explain you want to install it on another machine that you personally own and use. Hope this helps.

Hi
I have a copy of the above and was thinking of putting it on the netbook NC10. I have it on another computer. Can I put on the netbook or is it for one computer only?
