Oh well I will look out an e-mail if I have one but like I said the Talks list, Stephen Gigger, in particular was discussing this and I know he is very knowledgable. Have to say I didn't bother with it myself as I am very fast on the qwerty but do persevere and if I gleen any more info I will pass it on to you.

Hi Eleanor Yes I got all your info thanks, it is appreciated, obviously I read the messages in the wrong order but I am much clearer now. As for the bluetooth, will leave that for now, try again later on. As for your bluetooth, I really cannot help you only I tried pairing my bluetooth keyboard to no avail also and then I saw on the Talks list where they were talking about drivers for the bluetooth keyboards so perhaps with the name of your bluetooth keyboard google drivers for Nokia E5 and put in the name of your bluetooth keyboard in the search too. Other than that ask the question on the Talks list. I believe I also explained to you the Talks key and that if you press it once it says Talks, press again and you get the first emoticon which I think is a smily or the last one used. Press the Talks key again and it says Talks, press it again and the first symbol I get is £. You can then arrow all around until you get to the desired symbol Once you select and insert the symbol you are back in the text again. Will keep exploring. I don't have an I device, not my cup of tea, but anyway, thanks. Just one more question, how do I get the drivers for the keyboards? That is a new one for me. Once again, thanks. I answered your question before on a list with regard to numbers and letters on a qwerty keyboard. The fact that some of the keys do not speak is a Talksissueand highly likely never to be resolved as Talks is not having any further upgrades. Have you installed driver for your bluetooth keyboard? I think you wil need to do this as I had similar experience in that the phone could see it but not pair. I only learned recently on another list, thinkitwas the Talks list actually, that the keyboard's drivers are required. Now let's get to the numbers and letters issue. When you want to put in a single number press the button on the bottom left once and then for example if it is the number 5, you will press the G key which has a dot on itasan indication that it represents the number 5. However if you wish toputa string of numbers like your telephone number you will need to go intonumeric mode which you do again by pressing the bottom left key butthistime you press it twice and then put in your numbers. To return to character mode press the left key once and then start writing your text. You mention that your Mum is providing sighted assistance. In this case againasI have explained before you will find the numeric keypad in the centre oftheqerty keyboard. Keys f g and h are numbers 4 5 and 6. This means that you will find 1 2 and 3 above these keys and 7 8 9 below. 0 is to the right of the number 9. Finally you ask about the punctuation, I will have to go away and plug my phone in to have a look at this but nowadays we can obtain punctuation and emoticons with a key press but that is what I have tocheckas I am currently using an iPhone since December as I amd very disappointed that Talks could not even provide basic speeh.
