Many thanks, Alasdair. Just what I wanted - or so I thought! I downloaded the file, ran the exe and got a message "Adobe Flash player plug in set up completed." so I closed the dialogue and re-launched IE7.. But when I look in manage Add ons" in the Tools menu it does not appear to be there - unless I am looking in the wrong place! That was on a Vista system. I will try it again tomorrow on the XP one. perhaps I have to accept that my machines are a "Flash player free zone".
