You don't have to pay for any of these films, they have been uploaded by individuals and gathered together by the Blind Mice website. Some of the links don't work as the uploader or Sendspace have deleted the files.

I disagree about using the High Speed Download
option, It installs unwanted software onto your computer, changes your Home Page and it also installs the Sendspace Toolbar which you don't need or want.
You also don't need to register with Sendspace to download the films.

Just hit the Regular Download button and on the next page search for the word Bookmark and you'll find the download link right above it.

Enjoy the movies.

Tom.

Hi Peter,
do you have to sign up for the faster download function?
I haven't yet paid online for anything, and am still a little worried.

Like I said before, your best bet and most accessible one is to press B again to go to the faster download. It downloads a small application to download the file, changes your internet search and homepage options but you can easily switch them back again once you've got all the movies you want. The films download much quicker.

Hi all,
I put in a lot of time trying to conquer this page.
I am pretty useless but the guide below does work, and it is the very first
time I have ever given help, up until now I have always just taken your
advice, so here goes:
1.
Once you have entered on the film you want, hit B until you hear "regular
download" and then enter.
2.
The next page which comes up is a nightmare.
The link you want is best found by doing a quick Jaws search for the term
"download."
you will hear "download-link" and the very next line will have the name of
your film click it.

I know it sounds cumbersome but it really is quite fast once you have done
it a couple of times.

Anyway even if it doesn't work I am getting a real kick out of
contributing.
I would put a smiley face on here if I new how!!

Hi, Maureen,

Now you've made me download yet another tear-jerker!

I too find it difficult to navigate the Sendspace page. I find myself using windows +m to get to the desktop and alt tabbing round because I have a feeling sometimes adverts or some such intrude. Eventually I usually get there by using the links list in Jaws and going onto the film and entering there. Once I get onto it I can get round by tabbing but I do find it a bit fiddly.

Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Best wishes,

Joan.

Hi,
I said in a previous message that I'd downloaded one film, since then I haven't been able to download any at all. When I enter on the link with the name of the film it takes me to where it says 'you are about to download' and then the name of the film, but there isn't actually a link to download.
Can anyone give me any pointers? Am I just being thick? lol
All the best
Mo

Thanks, folks. So I should make MediaPlayer the principal player then. I just couldn't understand why some films would play all right while this particular one wouldn't. As you say, they are all MP3 soundtracks with audio description, and very good too.
 Best wishes,
 Joan.

They are just MP3 files so I play them with Windows Media Player.

     Hi, Folks,
I downloaded "Sleepless in Seattle" from the Blind Mice website.
However, RealPlayer says there is no software available to play
the film. I didn't have that problem with other films. Is there
another player I should be using?
On the subject of downloading from Blind Mice, I registered with
Sendspace and I find that it wants to take over my Internet
Explorer home page and I also think it clogs up websites.
     Using Windows XP and IE8.
     Any help will be appreciated.
Best wishes and all the best to everyone for 2011,
     Joan.
