The drive sizes are simply the physical size. Operating systems don't make
a difference either.

The question you raise about "the best drive to buy" is a subjective one.
Western Digital has been mention quite a lot.

All I would say is that I have had Western Digital and not had any problems
with it.

Hope this isn't too vague.

Regards.

Subject: [access-uk] external hard drives

hi,

does it make a difference as to whether i buy a 2.5 or a 3.5 external hard
drive if i want to upload data from both a desk top and a lap top on it?
also i want to be able to transfer data from the lap top to the desk top
and vise versa.

what is the best make of drive to get in terms of ease of use for a blind
person and also will it make a difference if one of the computers is using
windows mellenium, another using windows xp and the third has windows
vista?

thanks, Husna
